STUDIES FOR FIGURES AT THE BASE OF A CRUCIFIXION

This series is inspired by several paintings by Frances Bacon of the same name which depict episodes of 20th Century genocide and political violence that are appropriately placed at the base of a crucifixion thus affording them sacramental significance.
