Kindertotenlieder
Kindertotenlieder is referencing Mahler's famous song cycle of the same name which translates as "songs on the death of children," the visual representation of which consists of identity photographs of children from the concentration camps placed in a constrained, horrific environment meant to depict the horrors of their experience.
