Blackbirds

Blackbirds is a series of 13 portraits inspired by the poem "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird" by Wallace Stevens. The series depicts thirteen well known African American cultural figures consisting of writers, musicians, poets and soicial and political activists.
